More dogs will be posted soon!

Unfortunately, most of the dogs that we rescue here at Stray Rescue have not lived a very good life, up to this point. Most all of them require extensive medical treatment in order for them to recover and ultimately find their forever home.At most shelters these dogs would be considered to expensive to rehabilitate. Not at Stray Rescue of St. Louis. Regardless of cost, our dogs are given every chance to survive and be adopted.

This is where we need your help. Medical costs to treat our furry friends is very expensive and most of the money Stray Rescue receives thru donations is used to offset these costs. Due to this, certain items just aren't available for our dogs without your help.

By sponsoring one of our dogs, you make it possible for us to purchase items that make our friends lives at the shelter more comfortable and enjoyable.

Sponsoring former "Urban Wanderers" is easy. Click the paw under a dogs name to read their story. When you are ready to make your sponsor donation, click the "SPONSOR ME" link. You will be able to select the amount of your sponsorship. Every amount helps. There are none too big or too small.

Dogs can have more than 1 sponsor (They have a little contest to see who can get the most) and are very grateful for your caring generosity.
