This sweet baby face is Cal. He came to Stray Rescue through our Pound Assistance Program. It was very evident that Cal had suffered a traumatic start to life. He was so scared. Now with the help of many loving volunteers, Cal is beginning to trust people and realize that love is much more powerful than hate. While at the shelter he was definitely one of the favorites. Cal is now in a foster home and doing great. He loves his foster doggie siblings and is very sweet with the cats. He still has some more emotional growing to do, but if you take it slow and show him you are there for love, you will grow on him quickly! Cal's favorite pastimes are running around the yard with the other dogs, chasing tennis balls and snuggling on the couch. When he gets excited his entire body wiggles. Cal would really like a home that will allow him to progress further with positive experiences. He would do best in a home with an active dog to play with.
