Carlile is still waiting for her forever home. This sweet girl has been such a trooper and has proven to have more than 9 lives of a cat. She certainly cheated death on the streets and off the streets getting healthy. When she was rescued from the streets back in February she was already blind in her left eye, very little hair, coughing up blood and battling pneumonia. This skeleton of a dog still had the will to live. She has been treated for her heartworms but not with out leaving a lasting impression. She still has a lingering cough that probably will not go away but that has NOT affected her will to run, play and swim. Carlile does not act bothered by her cough and still loves chase the tennis ball and go swimming. She currently lives with other dogs in her foster home but doesn't have the desire to play with them. Carlile would probably do best having another canine companion in the home, not as a playmate, but as a buddy so she doesn't feel alone when you are away. In the house she is housebroken and does very well when given free reign of the home. Carlile has battled for her life to be ready for a forever home and she deserves one!
