Dilly Dally was rescued from the bitter cold just before Christmas. She was heartworm positive, severely underweight, and covered in scars. Now after a couple months of TLC, she has a beautiful shiny coat and a clean bill of health. We don’t know what horrors she lived through while on the streets, but it hasn’t affected her positive outlook on life one bit. She is one of the happiest dogs we have ever seen! She is incredibly friendly and greets everyone she meets with a little happy dance. She is housebroken, crate trained, and has picked up on basic commands very quickly. She loves other dogs, but she is on the dominant side so she would do best in a home with a more laid back dog. She is great with cats. She hasn’t lived with children, but would probably be a wonderful companion for older kids. She might be a little too strong for very small children.
