This is June she was rescued off the street in St Louis with her one surviving puppy. She’s a little camera shy and looks much cuter in real life. She is a fox hound mix, weighs about 50lbs and is approximately 2 years old. She is very dog friendly and loves to play with my male Siberian Husky. She would be suitable for a home with or without another dog, although she may do better with a male canine companion rather than a female. I do not know if she is cat friendly, but would probably not do well in a family with small pets such as rabbits as she is a keen hunter of squirrels. She plays fetch like a pro and is learning basic commands such as sit, down and stay. She has no food aggression with people or other dogs and will sit with her bowl in front of her until she is told it is ok for her to eat. She is easily trainable and will work for food or praise. She loves company and will follow you from room to room for companionship. She is working on house training and currently sleeps and stays in a crate when we are not home. She walks and runs beautifully on a leash and would make someone a wonderful running partner for a very long time. She has been spayed, microchiped and is up to date on her vaccinations. All she needs is a new active family to call home.
