Poor Kathleen had it kinda rough before coming to Stray Rescue. She was found under a dilapidated porch with her tiny babies. She was so scared. It took us several hours and lots of chicken livers before she went into our humane trap. Once inside the trap it was time to get the puppies. That in itself was quite an ordeal. But well worth it. All Kathleen's puppies have been adopted but she had to wait. She was still too scared of people to go to a home. Although she's still shy, she is slowly but surely making progress. She hasn't mastered walking on a leash yet so she'll need a home with a secure fenced in yard. Another well socialized dog would help teach Kathleen that people aren't so bad and that no one will ever hurt her again. Kathleen will also need a home with lots of patience and love.
