Lincoln was found near our shelter looking lost and confused. Luckily one of our volunteers happened by and was able to get him to the shelter. At first he was very scared of all the new people. Slowly but surely he realized we were the good guys and were there to help him. He's really come out of his shell and loves going for walks with the volunteers. He's still a bit shy with new people, but once he gets to know you he's a real love bug. Lincoln seems to like the other dogs at the shelter but he's never been exposed to cats. He is completely housebroken and his apartment at the shelter is always immaculate, except for the occasional destuffed squeaky toy. Because of his shyness, Lincoln would probably do best in a home with older children.
