Hi! I'm Sam. Sam I am. And believe it or not, I like green eggs and ham. In fact, I'll eat just about anything. And unfortunately that's what I had to do when I was living on the streets. Thank Heaven Stray Rescue came along when they did. It was a bitter cold day last winter and I was found shivering under an old dilapidated porch. I was sooooo cold because I didn't have any hair and no fat on my body to keep me insulated. I didn't think I would ever be warm again. But look at me now. My hair has all grown in and I'm back to a healthy weight (thanks to my foster dad and all the yummy treats he sneaks to me behind my foster moms back). I'm in a foster home now and doing great. My foster parents are happy to see that I'm learning to play with toys. I didn't know what they were at first. I get along just fine with the girl doggies but do prefer they be a bit on the calmer side. I am house trained and my foster parents don't have to crate me when they're gone. I just kinda hang out and watch the world go by. I love to go for short walks and I love car rides. The nice vets who cared for me said that I had apparently been hit by a car when I was younger and have some arthritis in my hips. My foster mom gives me medicine covered in yummy peanut butter every day so they don't hurt. And have a cute way of "talking" when I want a cookie or if I get excited.
