Schnapps is doing very well in his foster home. This home consists of 2 family dogs, 2 foster dogs (counting schnapps), 2 kids and 3 Adults. Schnapps interacts well with all. He does well with new people coming into the home and has had a chance to interact with toddlers. He is a very laid back dog. Does not jump on people or furniture. He is house broken, does not destroy or chew on things when left alone. He prefers not to be crated and he is the only dog of the 4 that I would trust to roam the house. He loves to go for walks and would be a good running partner. He is very interested in chasing squirrels and other small animals, so he could not go to a home with a cat. He is able to leap a 3 foot fence in a single bound. A 4 foot fence is high enough as long as it is not a chain-link fence, since he is also a climber. He would make a great pet for someone who lives in an apartment or cond. He is a very quiet dog (no barking), has a large bladder capacity( can go 10 hours over night with no accidents), and can roam around his home with out any signs of misbehavior. They don't get any better than this, he is truly a dream dog.
